Angus Lennecke - Plays half forward, academic, Podiatrist.
Angus is a recent graduate who came to us with big wraps from La Trobe University in Bendigo...and justifiably so...
having recently completed his honours research looking at "catastrophising and kinesiophobia on foot pain and function in people with plantar heel pain".
Originally from the cool outskirts of Ballarat in Victoria he acclimatised quickly to Launceston's winter.
His clinical interests include plantar heel pain and biomechanical assessment of the lower limb. Angus is currently establishing a cycling set-up set up and assessment clinic within our Launceston clinic. He utilises extraporal shockwave therapy for chronic tendon problems in the lower limb. He is keen on continuing education and is working hard to expand his professional development portfolio.
As a patient you will be comforted too that he is a member of Australian Podiatry Association(APodA) and Sports Medicine Australia (SMA) and Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM).
Away from the clinics he plays football with Old Scotch and enjoys the many outdoors pursuits that Tasmania has to offer.
Angus consults at our Launceston (Riverside), Prospect, St Helens and Flinders Island clinics.
